I'm Ikuma Yamashita (Native name: 山下 生真).
I work as an infrastructure engineer at a Japanese IT company.
During my studies, I majored in mechanical engineering with a focus on embedded systems. From there, I expanded my interests and started creating system programs and web applications as a hobby. You can get a sense of my skill level from the projects featured on this website.
I’m passionate about the Rust programming language and actively contribute to various open-source projects.
Another hobby of mine is digital illustration, which I’ve been practicing since middle school. I’m also considering creating a page on this website to showcase some of my artwork.
Thank you very much for visiting!
I was selected as one of the 2025 Japan AWS Jr. Champions and will be serving a term from May 2025 to April 2026. During this time, I will receive support from AWS Japan while engaging in community leadership and related activities.
What is Japan AWS Jr. Champions?
The Japan AWS Jr. Champion Program is a unique recognition program in Japan for young engineers with 1-3 years of professional experience who work at AWS partner companies.
It recognizes individuals who are actively learning AWS, taking on technical challenges, and making a positive impact on those around them through community activities.
Those selected are expected to become future Japan AWS Top Engineers or Japan AWS Ambassadors, and are considered outstanding young engineers.
